Places to submit backlinks

I typed "Kaysar Ridha Living Where" and came across his old domain name as one of the lower results. Www.KaysarRidha.com had to have gotten a ton of backlinks back in 2006 and at least a million unique hits. There was an active forums userbase of about 30,000 people I remember. Looking through his site in 2012 it appeared to be a blog talking about travel, when I realized someone bought this ex-reality tv stars domain name and is farming it out for links.

And then it hit me, what a genius idea. Think about it, in 10 years will Snooki (from Jersey Shore) still maintain her website? Maybe not, but in 2012 there are tons of links going to it still residually left over from 2007...so it is a well trusted source. If you buy her domain name (and the domain name of tons of other reality stars) and then pump out links you'll have a goldmine of high quality links.

Key Notes

Google's Algorithm has gotten better for backlinks, much better. Back in the day you could literally put links anywhere and see your site rise and rise. Then in 2007-2009 we saw greater restriction with Google's Algorithm on what was considered a "quality backlink" but nonetheless you could still rise exponentially in Google's algorithm with good quality links. In comes social networking and 2012 I have to say has been the roughest year for backlinks yet. Links must be extremely focused and there is only so much linking can now do. Backlinking alone cannot get you ranked for competitive keywords today. I have noticed especially with Google's update Panda that my sites are having a much more difficult time ranking. An interesting thing about the people who took over KaysarRidha's domain name is they 1.) Used duplicate content (probably a bot to blog) and 2.) Killed the credibility and PR of the site in Google's eyes. The site ranks on the second page for "Kaysar Ridha" despite being www.KaysarRidha.com

Nonetheless, the strategy picking up old reality tv star's domain names and using them is fascinating and interesting. If you don't spam the links and use them sparingly I do believe you can get some quality returns on them. Not saying I'm advocating or going to do it, but a fascinating backlink strategy. Thats one of the reasons I love SEO and SEM because its purely up to your creative mind on how to market, get backlinks, manipulate the variables to get you ranked.

I got some great SEO Tools reviews coming up and some great backlink software reviews. Although the importance of backlinks has definitely diminished due to the exploitation by people, backlinks are intrinsic to any SERP's search algorithm and for that reason will never completely diminish. Put simply if you think about creating a search engine and try to rank sites without incorporating backlinks you cannot make a good search engine. For 2012 it is my contention that you do need backlinks but in moderation and with combinations of solid SEO, solid social media buzz, and solid content generation. Where backlinks used to be 90% of your website marketing in early 2000's, then maybe 50% in mid to late 2000's, now its diminished to 20% with marginal utility decreasing over time.

Long story short: From the information and research we've collected web-marketing-pros.com is an offshoot from pr-interactive.com started by Peter Roesler. The site definitely isn't misleading and you probably don't have a chance of getting banned off search engines like you might if you use some other backlink services. The site design is nice, theres available support, its pretty obvious what your getting (except it says PR2-PR5 links there is a big difference)...We can't really say much more without trying the service. PR-Interactive has been around since 2008, which explains why web-marketing-pros may have less backlinks.

Our verdict. Be cautious but no major signs to be worried about!

You have the option of buying 1000 backlinks in bulk or 10 quality PR5 backlinks. Which one do you choose?

1000 backlinks pointing to your site does certainly sound good...I mean afterall more is better right? A search engine will see 1000 links vs 10 is certainly a vast difference. What you have to understand is there are literally BILLIONS of websites. And out of those billion Search Engines rank less then 2% as providing quality data. Chances are the service that is offering you 1000 links is going to offer you links from:

1.) not 1000 different websites linking to yor site, but rather 10 websites with 100 links on each
2.) websites that are either blacklisted by search engines for spamming links or not trusted by search engines for reliable content.

Additionally what if those links about your Christian Bookstore are links on gaming forums, porn websites, or other completely unrelated websites? Those links will be actually detrimental to your site getting linked to the keywords "Christian Books".  And one more fact, unnatural links of your website on the web can easily be interpretted as spamming and lead to your website getting blacklisted.

So the victor? Then ten high quality backlinks are MUCH better then the 1000. In the world of SEO and Backlinks Quality is DEFINITELY much better then Quantity.

Lets say we want to build a website for Tabitha Grear (fictitious name) who is a freelance chef that mainly specializes in traditional Hawaiian recipes. TurboBackLinks.com looks like it was created by an individual with minimal design experience. I tried to contact the owner under the contact form (which was obviously ported from another site), and it couldn't fit WebMaster@BackLinkReviews.com.  The only redeeming quality of this site, is the fact that its so simple to use. Enter in the amount of backlinks you want for what price and it gives you a price. Other then that we have no proven results. We have contacted the site owner, and asked for a trial service. As of yet, given our preliminary research we would NOT recommend TurboBackLinks.com

ExpressBacklinks.com is abysmal. There are alot of sites taking advantage of "Web 2.0" and spamming other sites onto blogs, social networks, and directories. I firmly believe that there is intense benefit towards advertising on blogs, but what ExpressBackLinks.com does is essentially what you can do (probably better) on your own sitting at home. I see nothing special, I see nothing innovative, and I see nothing useful.

Long story short: We're calling it. ExpressBackLinks.com looks like its Full of it. Lets go through the evidence again:

• Its only been online since October 2009 and he (I say he because it looks like its run by a one man show) only bought a domain lease until 2010. Put ontop of that its in built in WordPress, albeit a nice form of WordPress.
• The site itself doesn't have backlinks! You think if you can provide backlinks to others, you could give YOURSELF backlinks. He has less then 60 NO quality backlinks.
• ExpressBackLinks strategy is to put your backlinks on social networks and blogs. Whats new about that?
